CURSE OF THE NORTH Begins Recording Debut Album

October 31, 2010

CURSE OF THE NORTH — the new band featuring e-3 INCHES OF BLOOD bassist Nick Cates alongside two former members of the Seattle band BLACK HOUSES, Christiaan Morris and Patrick Taylor — has entered Studio Litho in Seattle, Washington with producer/engineer Matt Bayles (MASTODON, ISIS, THE SWORD) to begin recording its debut full-length album. The group has set up a recording blog and is running contests via Facebook and MySpace for fans to acquire demos that have been done over the last few months leading up to the record.

"Song Of The False", a previously unreleased demo track from CURSE OF THE NORTH, was premiered during a recent episode of the "Raise The Fist Of The Metal Child" podcast. Also aired were the two CURSE OF THE NORTH songs that are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page, "The Horsemen" and "When the Wind Blows".
